Getting Started
Thank you for choosing WillowWish Studio! Our printable products are designed to be simple to download and easy to print. Whether you're printing at home or using a professional printing service, the tips below will help you achieve the best possible results.
Step 1: Download Your Files
After completing your purchase, download your files to your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Save the files somewhere you can easily find them later, such as your Downloads folder or a dedicated folder for printable products.
Step 2: Open the File
Most WillowWish Studio products are provided as PDF files. For the best results, open PDFs using a current PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or another compatible PDF viewer.
Choose the Right Paper
- Greeting Cards: Cardstock is recommended.
- Bookmarks: Heavy cardstock provides extra durability.
- Wall Art: Matte photo paper or heavyweight presentation paper often produces excellent results.
- Coloring Pages: Standard printer paper works well for most coloring activities.
- Children's Books: Standard paper is suitable for reading, while heavier paper creates a more durable printed copy.
Printer Settings
Before printing, verify that your printer settings match the product's intended paper size.
- Select the correct paper size.
- Use the highest print quality available if desired.
- Print at 100% or Actual Size unless the product instructions state otherwise.
- Make sure your paper orientation matches the document.
Printing at Home
Home printers are perfect for many WillowWish Studio products. If your printer supports heavier paper or cardstock, check your printer manual for recommended paper weights and loading instructions.
Using a Professional Print Shop
Local print shops and online printing services can produce high-quality results, especially for greeting cards, wall art, and larger print projects. Simply provide the digital file and choose the paper that best fits your project.
Printing More Than Once
Your personal use license allows you to print replacement copies and additional copies for your own personal use. You may also print finished copies to give as personal gifts.
Troubleshooting
The print is too small or too large.
Check that your printer is set to the correct paper size and print at 100% or Actual Size rather than using scaling options that may resize the document.
The colors look different.
Colors can vary depending on your printer, monitor, paper type, and ink. Small differences are normal.
The edges are cut off.
Verify that the correct paper size is selected and that your printer supports borderless printing if the product is designed for it.
